OVERVIEW

Kina is a fintech rewards membership built around how moms actually spend, from childcare and tuition to everyday family costs. The direction evolved significantly through the process, landing on a bold, energetic identity instead of the soft, muted tone most parenting brands default to.

Luna UI built the site in Framer from an initial brand deck by Lemns Studio, then took on About Us, legal pages, and a rebrand revision pass as the project grew past the original landing page brief.

Approach

The color direction moved through three full pivots before landing on a palette confident enough for fintech and warm enough for a brand built around motherhood.

Most parenting brands default to muted pastels. Kina is built on plum and cream instead, with lime, sky blue, lavender, coral and pink as accents. Photography follows the same instinct, candid and film grain, sourced through Lummi rather than stock.

System

Every scroll interaction across the site, from the pinned benefits sequence on the homepage to the ledger and belief sections on About, was built from scratch as a custom Framer component.

Result

A brand that reads as premium fintech first, motherhood second, plum and lime instead of the soft pastels the parenting category defaults to, confident copy instead of the reassuring tone most family products use.
